The bottom end caps including the piston rods and cylinders of the DT and DTC air legs are designed from high strength aircraft alloy. The inner and the outer pistons are manufactured from high impact strength materials thus eliminating the breakage, shattering and splitting of pistons. Varieties of improvements were made to the DT and DTC air legs.
Varieties of replacement spares are also available from Downunder Mining. Wipers of the DT and DTC air legs from Downunder Mining include a soft lip combined with a broad base skirt. This ensures less dirt enters and damages the cylinders.
Control hand grip of the air legs from Downunder Mining are designed from extruded alloy thus providing better grip to the user. This reduces the wear and tear of the equipment. The piston rod wear sleeves are hardened using a special heat treatment process thus minimising the wear of the air legs. Materials used for designing the air legs are of good quality and heat treatment is also used for manufacturing these products.
