Donaldson Australasia self-cleaning systems are designed to help turbines and generators operate anywhere in dusty deserts, urban/factory areas, on the coast, or in frosty conditions.
Because they are self-cleaning, they require little maintenance between filter change-outs. Several models are available to suit different applications:
GDX for large turbines:
Suitable predominantly for original equipment manufacturers, Donaldson Australasia’s GDX is an advanced, pulse cleaning inlet air filter system in a compact, modular design.
The systems uses a layered downward airflow design over banks of filter cartridge pairs (mounted horizontally) made with high-efficiency spider-web filter media.
GDX provides maximum convenience and filtration efficiency for turbines with operating airflow of 2237 to 33557 m3/min.
Design supports many inlet enhancements such as moisture separators, acoustic hoods, evaporative cooler or chiller coils, and anti-icing systems.
GDX for smaller turbines:
Sized for turbines requiring airflow less than 2237 m3/min, this GDX design has all the same convenience and high-performance characteristics of its larger brother, but fewer filter cartridges.
TTD:
The Donaldson Australasia TTD system is the original pulse cleaning air filter system for gas turbine and generator ventilation applications. Filter cartridges are mounted vertically.
Available with one level of filter elements for airflow up to 2237 m3/min or with several filter levels to accommodate larger airflow.
