Heavy duty high pressure filter

Heavy-duty high-pressure filters, available from Donaldson Australasia , sit behind pumps and other prime movers to protect critical hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors and valves.

Across the range, each unit contains the company’s Synteq synthetic filter media, a product specially developed by Donaldson for high efficiency liquid filtration.

Working pressures range from 2000 psi up to 6090 psi; and static pressures from 4500 psi up to 12000 psi.

The following units and specifications constitute the range:

FPK02 series -- high pressure/low flow

with working pressures to 6090 psi / 42 MPa / 420 bar, the FPK02 series has a minimum burst (rated static) pressure to 9135 psi / 63 MPa / 630 bar.

Its flow range is to 25 gpm / 95 lpm. FPK02 is suitable for high pressure, low flow applications.

HPK04 series

Known as the sturdy workhorse, the HPK04 series has working pressures to 6000 psi / 41,400 kPa / 413.8 bar.

Its rated static burst is to 12000 psi / 82800 kPa / 827.6 bar, and flow range to 120 gpm / 456 l/min). This versatile filter is offered in 2 lengths and has an optional reverse flow check valve.

HPK05 series – high pressure/high flow

This series has working pressures to 3000 psi / 20,700 kPa / 206.9 bar. With a minimum burst (rated static) pressure to 6000 psi / 41,400 kPa / 413.8 bar and a flow range to 0-200 gpm / 0-757 l/min.

HPK03 series

Donaldson’s HPK03 series has working pressures to 3000 psi / 20,700 kPa / 206.9 bar, a minimum burst (rated static) pressure to 6000 psi / 41,400 kPa / 413.8 bar and a flow range to 0-60 gpm / 0-227 l/min.

HPK02 series – aluminium body

Develop for applications where an aluminium body is necessary, the HPK02 series has working pressures to 2000 psi / 13,790 kPa / 137.9 bar.

Minimum burst (rated static) pressure is to 4500 psi / 31,030 kPa / 310.3 bar and flow range to 0-20 gpm / 0-75 l/min.
