DocsCorp and Payne Consulting form new strategic alliance

DocsCorp  and Payne Consulting at ILTA 07 in Orlando, FL announced they have formed a new strategic alliance.

Commenting on the alliance, Donna Payne, CEO and founder of Payne Consulting Group, said that both companies were a natural fit not only in terms of product offerings but also in terms of company philosophy and vision.

"Payne Consulting and DocsCorp are committed to developing innovative solutions that integrate into core business applications, processes and systems to deliver higher levels of efficiency, productivity and security for our clients," said Payne.

DocsCorp Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing, David Woolstencroft, went on to say that their respective clients were the winners from the alliance-they now have a choice when it comes to document comparison and security.

The complimentary products provide corporations, financial institutions, governments and legal firms with a high level of protection and security when distributing business-critical documents and forms beyond the company firewall.

Protecting itself from unintentional leaks of confidential data and information is one of the big challenges business faces today.

A number of high profile incidents in the US [White House, Pentagon] and overseas [Tony Blair, Westpac Bank] have highlighted the dangers of document metadata and the improper redaction of electronic documents.

Payne Consulting was one of the first companies to recognise the dangers of metadata and developed its now world famous Metadata Assistant.

DocsCorp's PDF redaction tool, which was part of the early pdfDocs releases, set it apart from many software developers in the PDF software industry.

Norm Thomas, director of business development for Microsoft's U.S. Professional Services Group, said: "Legal firms struggle with maintaining security and compliance when distributing documents beyond their company firewalls. DocsCorp and Payne Consulting are working together to create solutions built on the Microsoft platform to mitigate this risk and provide customers with confidence when sending sensitive documents to clients, opposing counsel or other third parties."

DocsCorp and Payne Consulting clients now have all the tools they need to create, manage and secure PDF documents, convert PDF documents to text searchable or Word documents, redact sensitive information from PDFs, create and fill in PDF forms, compare documents [PDF-to-PDF, and Word-to-Word] and the final step in the process-remove harmful or sensitive metadata from documents before sending on to clients or external third parties.
