A more palletable method of workholding (12-Aug-2005)
DEMANDING machining requirements often necessitates workholding that goes beyond standard product offerings. A specially designed pallet vise designed by Kurt Manufacturing Company, represented in Australia by DoAll Australia Pty Ltd, addresses this issue. To solve spindle clearance limitations, maintain repeatable high precision clamping and make setups faster, Kurt designed a 6” pallet vise.
Towers provide eight clamping stations (8-Jul-2005)
KURT, represented by DoAll Australia, has released HDL ClusterTowers, providing repeatable clamping to 0.0254mm. The towers hold multiple parts in eight clamping stations for maximising machine cycle times. They are available with a full range of holding options, are very quick to load and provide versatile, high-density workholding.
Maximum clamping force vices (16-Jun-2005)
KURT's new D688 vices, available through DoAll Australia, set the industry standard for precision clamping with the highest clamping force for any given input torque. With a jaw opening of 8.8 inches and repeatability to within 0.001 inch, these vices produce up to 7,968 lbs clamping force with just 80 ft lbs input torque.
Automatic and manual drawbars (5-Apr-2005)
KURT, represented in Australia by DoAll Australia, has released automatic and mechanical PowerLock drawbars that improve milling machine output by reducing tool change time.
Modular tombstones for high density workholding (8-Sep-2004)
KURT Manufacuring has released new ToolBlox modular tombstones in two-face and four-face models provide lighter weight options for designing and building high density workholding for today's high speed horizontal machining centres.
