The recent Foodpro 2011 proved to be a huge success with a record number of exhibitors and visitors in attendance at the event.
The highly successful exhibition has established its position as one of the largest and most significant shows in the Asia Pacific for the region’s food and beverage processing and manufacturing industries.
The 2011 Foodpro featured 328 exhibitors, an 18% increase from 2008 with the show expanding from four to five halls, filling a total of 22,000m² of space at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over 8,800 key industry decision makers attended the event over the four days of the exhibition, a 13% increase from Foodpro 2008.
With positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors alike on the scale and breadth of the 2011 event, Foodpro Exhibition Manager, Peter Petherick is confident Foodpro 2014 will be even bigger and more impressive.
Acknowledging the fact that Foodpro offered a highly comprehensive display of the food industry’s products and services, visitors have reconfirmed that the exhibition is a must-attend event and an ideal place for new ideas, technology and solutions to generate business, as well as invaluable networking opportunities.
Managing the Foodpro exhibition for the first time, Diversified Exhibitions Australia was praised for the organisation and quality of this year’s show.
For Foodpro 2014, Diversified Exhibitions Australia will continue to build on its successful alliance with the AIFST while seeking to build the show’s partnerships with industry bodies and associations. Foodpro 2014, scheduled for 13 to 16 July is expected to build upon the size and popularity of this year’s premium event.
Foodpro’s success in 2011 has helped spark a new venture for Diversified, having gained many expressions of interest for a smaller, regional food processing and manufacturing industry show now in planning for Queensland in 2013.
Backed by 25 years of premium exhibition experience, Diversified Exhibitions Australia is a specialist in all aspects of the food industry with a portfolio that includes the award winning Fine Food Australia and Good Food and Wine Shows, as well as the Gluten Free Shows and Restaurant Show.
