Foodpro 2011, the triennial event of the Australasian food manufacturing industry will be held in Sydney from July 10 to July 13.
Foodpro 2011 has already exceeded the expectations of the organisers with a record-breaking number of exhibitors, confidently maintaining its status as a major food processing exhibition in the Asia Pacific.
Over 320 Foodpro exhibitors are expected to fill five halls of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour covering an area of over 22,000m².
Confident about the success of this year’s exhibition, Foodpro Manager Peter Petherick comments that the Foodpro exhibition has, since its inception in the 1960s developed into one of the most influential and comprehensive food manufacturing events in the Australasian region for the food and beverage processing industry.
He adds that Foodpro is seen as an invaluable opportunity by visitors to view the latest showcase of products and ideas from the cream of the food manufacturing business suppliers.
Foodpro 2011 will feature new food manufacturing industry trends as well as the latest in food and beverage processing machinery, services, technical products, ingredients, flavourings, additives, food safety, microbiology and testing equipment, packaging, handling, storage, transport, plant equipment, hygiene as well as water and waste systems among others.
Products and services showcased at the food exhibition cater to diverse industries including meat and dairy, confectionery and baking, seafood, fruit and vegetables, beverage, soft drink and juice as well as the brewing, wine and spirit industries.
Organised by Diversified Exhibitions Australia , Foodpro 2011 will be co-located with the 44th annual Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST) Conference.
