Tooling technologies and engineering expertise

DIMAC Tooling will once again be at the Austech component of National Manufacturing Week to display to the market its extensive range of tooling technologies and associated engineering expertise on Stand No.A40.

Not only is this company a supplier of top-end CNC machine tool accessories, it also has an engineering workshop and hence keeps close contact with working technologies.

The genuine Kitagawa range of power chucks and specialty chucks are the industry standard for machine shops and will be on display with expert help. Made from high-grade carbon steel rather than the more commonly found mild steel, this range of chucks provides an extremely long lifespan to secure and protect work pieces during production to thus eradicate stoppages and the cost of frequently replacing cheaper equipment.

To prolong the life of expensive coolant used on lathes in the machine tool industry, Dimac has the range of Zebra Skimmers which includes disk skimmers, belt skimmers, and tube skimmers and associated coolant maintenance products.

The Reven range of high performance oil mist filters uses a groundbreaking new technology to filter coolant and oil mist in and around machining centres. This technology, X-Zyklon, uses clever physics rather than energy to safely remove a potentially harmful mist.

A recent addition to the Dimac product line up is the SAV range of magnetic workholding elements from SAV Workholding, Germany. The product range covers simple magnetic blocks to electro-magnetic clamping systems.

With its impressive reputation for accurate, reliable and, above all, rigid live tooling, the WTO product range is now available in Australia from Dimac.

Dimac's special purpose power chuck grease will be in a 450g cartridge to conveniently fit into industry standard cartridge grease guns to minimise messy reloading and wastage.

Several Kitagawa rotary tables will also be on display.
