Diadora Utility - Trading Downunder (Diadora Utility) have launched their 2008 safety footwear collection. Diadora Utility have incorporated fashion with advanced safety features in their 2008 footwear collection.
The 2008 collection from Diadora Utility features the Vent model, an anti-static shoe, featuring an aluminium toe-cap, which is 50% lighter than steel, yet providing the same impact protection of 200 joules.
The sole of the shoe is made of nitrile rubber, consisting of a special wear proof rubber mix that ensures resistance to abrasion, improving traction and durability. Additionally, the sole is temperature rated to 300 degrees.
Another important safety feature incorporated in the Vent is the anti-perforation mid-sole (K Sole) made from ceramic impregnated fibres that run along the sole of the shoe, preventing sharp items from penetrating through to the foot.
The Vent from Diadora Utility also has an anatomic active carbons insole for added comfort and moisture absorption.
The Vent is a lightweight, flexible and comfortable safety shoe that meets the Australian standards AS/NZS2210.3. It is ideal for workers on the move, particularly those in the transport and hospitality industries.
