Dioptika Laser Glasses  have introduced the DBX-IR-1.3/1.7 laser beam expander offering 10X, 15X and 20X expansion ratios with a large clear output aperture of 47mm diameter. The large output aperture reduces optical loss and is suitable for laser applications where either a small spot is required at long distances or a large collimated output beam is required. It offers variable focus and can focus from 1m to infinity.

The DBX-IR-1.3/1.7 laser beam expander is suitable for use with lasers in the wavelength range of 1.3 microns, 1.5 microns and up to 1.7 microns. With a length of 103mm for the 20X expander, the DBX-IR-1.3/1.7 laser beam expander is compact. The DBX-IR-1.3/1.7 laser beam expander is suitable for industrial, scientific, R&D and OEM requirements.

The DBX-IR-1.3/1.7 laser beam expander offers a variety of mounting options and allow direct fitting of a diode laser module up to a maximum diameter of 26mm to be fitted directly in the back. In addition, the DBX-IR-1.3/1.7 laser beam expander has a range of imperial and metric mounting holes on the base to accept mounting posts or screwing down onto a fixed surface.

The DBX-IR-1.3/1.7 laser beam expander can also easily change the expansion ratio between 10X, 15X and 20X by simply changing the rear attachment. Custom beam expanders are available upon request.
