ZIV Aplicaciones y Tecnología appoint Dewar Electronics as Australian representatives

Dewar Electronics  have been appointed as the Australian representatives of Spanish company ZIV Aplicaciones y Tecnología. The ZIV group of companies design, manufacture and market digital equipment and systems in the areas of protection, control, metering, system engineering, services and communication for substation applications in the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy.

Dewar Electronics have for many years represented ZIV subsidiary Dimat and now add the remaining companies of the group. These are Protection & Control, Medina (meters) and uSysCom. (Ethernet products).

Making the announcement Norberto Santiago Managing Director of ZIV said, the appointment of Dewar Electronics will allow the ZIV group of companies to build on the success already achieved by Dewar Electronics in selling Dimat communication equipment to Australian power utilities.

Delia Jones, Managing Director of Dewar Electronics commented that the ZIV range of product now allows Dewar Electronics to provide Australian power utilities with sales and customer support for the ZIV group of IEC61850 certified, advanced protection, control, metering and communication products.
