Dewar Electronics has released SNP series adaptor PoE (Power over Ethernet) for Ethernet applications. The PoE series adaptor for Ethernet PoE applications delivers power to the end device through four idle lines of Ethernet cable.
To prevent the tiny signal lines from getting damaged, the rated current allowed is 350mA, and the trip point of over current protection is around 458mA. At no load conditions this series meets green power regulations.
For Ethernet PoE applications there are three models available, namely, SNP-POE7 for 12V/0.35A, SNP-POE9 for 24V/0.35A and SNP-POET for 48V/0.35A. This Ethernet PoE power supply is tiny, 110mm x 54mm x 33mm high and weighs 140g.
Input for the Ethernet PoE power supply is through an IEC 320 C8 connector and output is through two standard RJ45 connectors, one for device and one for Ethernet.
