The standard range of the new DC-Com electric chain hoist from Demag Cranes & Components is tailored to applications for general requirements and everyday use. It also has good quality features and is available at the price of a general purpose electric chain hoist.

The features of the DC-Com electric chain hoist include:

• Plug & Lift and Plug & Drive - all electrical connections are of plug-in design
• Simply hook the hoist to the trolley using the universal folding suspension bracket
• The flange width of the hoist trolley is infinitely adjustable - quickly and easily
• The length of the control cable can be adjusted without the need for any wiring - the control pendant is always at the right working position
• Fatigue-free operation due to the ergonomically optimised DSC control pendant or DSE for electric travel trolleys
• Direct and fast access to all important plug-and-socket connections, height adjustment of the control pendant and chain lubrication beneath the service cover
• The entire chain drive can be quickly replaced without having to remove the motor or gear parts
• SAA Classification M4 and M5
• 24 volt contactor control and operating limit switches
• Two hoist speeds as standard, 4 & 2 metres per minute lifting speed
• Delivery is “off the shelf,” no waiting days to solve the hoisting requirements
• Control cable length adjustable by customer
• Easily configured to manual or electric travel trolley operation
