DELL has introduced the Inspiron 4150 and Latitude C640, two high-performance, thin and light notebook computers featuring Intel's Mobile Pentium 4-M processor at speeds up to 2GHz.
The Inspiron 4150 allows home and small business customers to easily customise a personalised configuration with features like Intel's Mobile Pentium 4-M processors, a range of display resolutions, three hard drive sizes up to 40GB and a choice of four optical drives.
The notebook also comes with Ion Silver accents and has five new optional QuickSnap colour inserts: black leather, iridescent jade, burlwood, birch blue and robin's egg red.
An Inspiron 4150 with a 1.9GHz Mobile Pentium 4-M processor, 256MB DDR SDRAM and a 20GB hard drive starts at $3,999.
The Latitude C640 for corporate, education and government users features best-in-class video graphics, large, bright displays and easy connectivity through integrated networking and dial-up modem.
Starting with a price of $4,771, the Latitude C640 includes a 1.6GHz Pentium 4-M processor, deluxe carrying case, Microsoft Windows Professional and a three-year limited warranty.
