DATUM Engineering Supplies will have a full range of tools and equipment for the metal cutting industry from its suppliers D'Andrea, Izar, MA Ford, and Stellram, on display at Austech 2004.
A feature of the display will be the latest TuffCut range of solid carbide end mills, drills and burrs developed by MA Ford.
From Stellram, a globally integrated technology leader in the development of carbide metal cutting solutions, comes a range of turning, milling, threading, drilling and grooving systems.
A complete program of high speed, high speed cobalt and sintered powder steel with coatings from leading Spanish supplier Izar will also be on display.
For stainless steel, aluminium, glass, plastic and marble cutting requirements Techni Automation will have the latest two-dimensional Techjet waterjet cutting machine.
The machine is used to profile cut almost any material, rigid and flexible, and is suitable for use in a wide range of markets including automotive, aerospace, electronic, and gasket manufacture.
The Techjet incorporates new technology which enables units to run at a working pressure of 60,000psi, an increase of 5,000psi on old models. The machine also features a new high pressure seal design increasing the time between scheduled maintenance.
Techni Automation manufactures 2D and 3D profile waterjet cutting machines in Melbourne and imports waterjet intensifiers from KMT Waterjet Systems, based in Kansas, USA.
