THE new Gryphon D432 is the latest in Datalogic's successful family of handheld 2D readers.
The new Gryphon omni-directional 2D reader is designed to suit most retail and office applications such as document handling, healthcare and point-of-sale, as well as light industrial applications like shipping and receiving.
The Gryphon is based on the latest generation of Intel micro-controllers and is a perfect combination of the best 2D-CMOS reading performance and Datalogic's unmistakeable design and distinctive features.
The new model can read most common 1D and 2D codes, as well as a complete set of postal codes and provide three different interfaces on a single model for full connectivity: USB, RS232 and Wedge emulation.
The new architecture of the Gryphon D432 guarantees complete image management, with up to four acquisition options that modify image contrast, image brightness and zoom resolution to deliver top performance on high resolution codes.
Like the rest of the Gryphon family, the 2D version features the Datalogic patented green spot for good read feedback. It has an operating voltage of 5V so there is no need for an external power supply and it also comes with a five-year warranty.
The Gryphon 2D reader shares various characteristics of the Lynx family of industrial 2D readers from Datalogic, such as the five-dot intuitive pointer, which can also be configured according to the specific application needs.
The VisualSetup software tool has been specially designed by Datalogic for its 2D readers and is easy to use and improves installation and maintenance of the reader.
This software enables complete configuration of the reader and the decoded data and captured images can be displayed via USB or RS232 communication.
