Datalogic Automation offers the M-Series embedded vision systems with two new processors to help address a broader range of customer needs.
The two new processors allow a broad application range from basic, entry-level inspections to advanced capabilities that require maximum speed and performance.
While the MX20 is a compact, cost-effective processor supporting up to 2.0 Megapixel area scan cameras, the MX80 processor offers maximum image-processing speed and power for up to four unique, high-performance camera inspections.
The MX20 features an Intel dual-core processor and two independent PoE camera ports, and is capable of distances up to 100m from the processor to the camera. The rugged, industrial-strength MX80 has an Intel i7 quad-core processor with 4 GB memory and four independent gigabit PoE ports.
Andy Monteith, vice president of business development explains that the new processors easily integrate with PPT’s smart cameras and the full line of M-series cameras without the need of a PC. Combined with PPT’s flexible, configurable Impact Software Suite, they are a winning combination for today’s machine vision inspections.
