Data loggers for aquaculture industry from Data Acquisition Networks
Data Acquisition Networks (DAN) not only has a good understanding of the food industry from paddock to plate but also understands how to use data loggers to provide practical solutions for all stakeholders.
In 2003 Data Acquisition Networks was asked to develop data loggers for use in the aquaculture industry in NSW, specifically to monitor in this instance the opening and closure of oyster harvest areas in estuaries.
Data loggers provided by Data Acquisition Networks have been in use ever since. The benefits of monitoring estuarine water quality continuously 24/7 do not just manifest in the ability to open and close an estuary and ensure food safety.
Through correlating salinity readings with meat quality, Data Acquisition Networks has been able to increase the time during which an estuary is open for oyster harvesting.
