One regional NSW Council recently installed Data Acquisition Networks’ data logging equipment to solve a specific problem.
With no mobile phone coverage at the monitoring point the NSW Council needed to find a way to wirelessly transmit data and installed a DAN solar powered wireless unit which can transmit data to a receiver located where mobile coverage will enable forward transmission of data to the Data Acquisition Networks’ website.
NSW Council is now able to receive alarms and accumulated data.
Data Acquisition Networks in 2003 released the DM01 series of data logging equipment which has proven to have a variety of applications ranging from environmental monitoring, temperature monitoring through to rainfall monitoring and almost everything in between.
The DM01 series is able to be connected to almost any commercial probe and each unit can take up to 6 inputs plus 1 counter input.
