Dalmec 's range of materials handling equipment for wire spools and bobbins has been specifically engineered for gripping and handling these products in a weightless condition. Dalmec pneumatic manipulators have been custom made to suit each individual application and there are a number of different models based on the particular task to be completed. These include:

PRS overhead trolley mounted with outside gripper
This manipulator has been equipped with an outside gripper designed to clamp onto the flanges of telephone wire spools. This materials handling equipment also allows for the reorientation and positioning of spools into cabling machines.

MPS mounted
This particular industrial manipulator is mounted on a bi-directional overhead track system. This system is equipped with a pneumatic gripper for handling both B40 and B60 type wire spools.

O.D. flange gripper
Pneumatic tooling together with an expanding mandrel allows this gripper to handle B40, B60 and B80 type wire spools. 90 degree tilting can be achieved manually using this equipment.
