Deckel Maho, represented by DMG Australia , has released the monoBLOCK series offering rapid traverse, increased speed in rotary axes, and a larger work area on a smaller footprint(3-axis version).
The machine also features enhanced pivoting range of the B-axis for greater flexibility. The combination of the NC-rotary table and reduced distance to the table surface offer a broader spectrum of universal and productive 5-axis/5-sided machining.
The monoBLOCK series is said to cover the full spectrum of milling technology. The 3-axis version features a fixed table and manual swivel milling head, as well as a high expansion stage with the B-axis and the NC- rotary table.
The 5-axis version operates with a larger pivoting range of the B-axis, totalling 150°, allowing machining to a negative 30° angle. The horizontal spindle clearance has been reduced to 188mm, allowing the monoBLOCK generation to be expanded, especially in 5-axis machining for the tool and die and mould making industries.
