DMF International have included the Efaflex high speed doors to their range, which is a high speed door suitable for after hours security. Operating at speeds up to 2.5m/sec, the Efaflex SST high speed door is suitable for high daily frequency of use.
The Efaflex SST high speed door can accommodate openings of up to 6m high or 6m wide and can be exposed to high wind. It is suitable for a variety of internal or external applications.
Most warehouse applications use a vinyl high speed roll door to offer climate protection during high frequency use and then a standard roller shutter door for security. The Efaflex SST door can provide both functions, removing the need for two separate doors.
The Efaflex SST high speed door has the following features:
- An in-column TLG light curtain, which prevents the door from closing if anything is within the opening. This is not a single beam, but a full light curtain, synchronised with the door action, which is a necessity for this type of rapid action door
- Solid panels are clear using a tough acrylic glass
- Many forms of activation
- Option of an active crash system allowing the bottom of the door to be impacted and then automatically realigning back into operation. This is suitable for heavy trafficked openings, such as warehouses
- The compact and low maintenance construction can provide a long service life for the Efaflex SST high speed roll door, designed for about 250,000 cycles per year
