DFC Packaging can supply Bundle wrapping machinery, Ranging in different matrix formats to suit the products.
Bundle wrapping (also known as sleeve wrapping) is commonly used for packaging items to keep them together to get them to the retailer in one-piece. The items are collated in a group (for example a 2x3 six pack), then pushed into two single sheets of polyethylene sealed to create a tube around the product, and then ran through a heat shrink tunnel to make the film wrap snugly around the product to keep it secure.
The bundle wrapping machines come in semi-automatic, fully automatic, and also capable of placing a cardboard try under the product before wrapping (on special request).
The bundle wrapping machines can also be incorporated to create S.R.P. (shelf ready packaging) for the supermarkets.
