The Australian distributor for Hirschmann Industrial Ethernet, Idem Safety Switches and now B&R Automation, Daanet , is pleased to announce the appointment of Eugene Mayevsky as Sales and Support Manager.
Eugene was previously with Rockwell Automation and brings with him a wide range of knowledge and experience in industrial automation products and applications, especially motion control and machine automation, gained over 25 years in the Australian market.
Eugene's role with Daanet will focus on developing an effective sales and support structure for the company and its distributors as they build up the business for B&R Automation (Bernecker & Rainer Industrie Elektronik Ges.m.b.H). His well regarded background in motion control and robotics will benefit many users of B&R’s integrated motion capabilities.

Daanet has been the authorised Australian distributor for Hirschmann Industrial Ethernet since 2003 and more recently has been granted exclusive distribution rights for IDEM Safety Switches out of the UK and Bernecker & Rainer (B&R) out of Austria.
With the software package 'Automation Studio' B&R have an integrated automation platform for discrete and process control, motion, safety, operator interface and communications, giving significant savings in project costs and lead times. Their range includes safety controllers and HMI/PLC integrated controllers, PLC’s, industrial PCs and HMIs, servo drives and fieldbus IO.
