Ferret attended an exclusive press conference today at Peter Doyle's Seafood Restaurant at the Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay, on Sydney harbour today where DAANET announced their appointment as B & R Australian and New Zealand Distributor.
The press conference came after DAANET announced on July 1st of this year that it had been appointed by Bernecker & Rainer (B & R) as their authorised Australian and New Zealand distributor.
Present at the conference from B & R was International Sales Manager - Australia and New Zealand, Mr Stefan Zeintl, who noted recently of the appointment that "DAANET member distributors are well regarded in Australia for their long-standing high levels of customer support and product expertise".
DAANET was formed in 2003 by an Australia-wide group of nearly 20 automation product distributors. The purpose of DAANET was to identify and introduce leading international automation brands to the Australian market to complement the range of controllers, HMI, drives and sensors already represented by the distributors.
The collaboration of these distributors results in increased size and buying power which benefits DAANET's customers with national support and competitive prices.
DAANET distributors now cover all states in Australia, there are 17 distributors within DAANET, most with over 20 years experience operating in the main cities and regional areas of Australia. DAANET now comprises 21 sales offices in Australia and New Zealand.
DAANET distributors have an established history of selling, supporting and developing automation business, especially with PLC's, HMI, SCADA and Motion.
