World-leading hydraulic solutions provider, Custom Fluidpower is opening a new branch in Gladstone to increase support to Queensland industry.
Custom Fluidpower is a distributor of global brands, delivering engineered fluid power services through a team of over 220 skilled people located in eight branches Australia wide.
Custom Fluidpower is already serving Queensland industry through their custom designed facilities in Mackay and Brisbane. The new Gladstone facility will add to the sales and service centres already operating in Brisbane, Emerald and Mackay.
The Gladstone branch will offer a wide range of fluid power solutions from complete system design and product sales through to field service, workshop repairs, and installation and commissioning.
These four hubs will enable Queensland customers to access great service from a single experienced provider with high levels of knowledge of local applications, technology and environmental conditions.
According to Custom Fluidpower’s Sales Director Neil Martin, their Brisbane branch has already helped the company develop longstanding relationships with customers based in Gladstone. The new hub in Gladstone aims to better serve these customers as well as tap new opportunities in the gas sector.
Neil Martin adds that the Gladstone branch completes Custom Fluidpower’s ability to effectively service the area between Gladstone, Mackay and Emerald in the Bowen Basin and Callide regions, while preparing the company to service the Rockhampton coast area in the future.
Located at 116 B Hanson Rd Gladstone in an 1100m² facility, the new sales and service hub is well placed to serve local industry from port, gas and coal projects through to local hydraulic service providers.
Custom Fluidpower offers a wide range of services relevant to the Gladstone market including braking systems for ports and complete drill rig hydraulic packages through to smelters.
The Gladstone branch will be managed by Stephen Hooper, currently Branch Manager of Custom Fluidpower’s Emerald branch. Stephen will retain management responsibility for the Emerald branch.
