Custom Fluidpower offers online fluid power training to increase safety

Supplier News

Custom Fluid Power Training, the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Division of Custom Fluidpower has launched its online training portal to offer courses in fluid power.

Aiming to increase safety during maintenance and operation of hydraulic or pneumatic equipment, Custom Fluid Power Training (CFPT) commences the training program with an Introduction to Fluid Power course.

With the impending implementation of nationally harmonised workplace health and safety legislation, companies can make use of these courses to increase the safety of their work environments through further training of their employees.

The fluid power courses are particularly relevant to industry that continually adopts new technology, machinery and equipment with high pressure hydraulic and lubrication systems becoming more common and increasing the risk of fluid injection injury among workers.

The e-learning training course, Module 1 - Fluid Power Basic Principles, Safety and MDG41, can be accessed on the CFPT website and is suitable for fitters or engineers that have zero or limited fluid power experience. Additional modules of the Introduction to Fluid Power course will follow in the coming months.

The Introduction to Fluid Power Training course is also available in a face-to-face format as a two-day course in groups of 8-10 members. These courses can be conducted on-site or at CFPT’s facilities using dedicated hydraulic simulators for a hands-on approach to learning.

Custom Fluidpower is a world-leading independently owned hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics solutions provider in Australia.

Custom Fluidpower’s training packages meet current industry best practice and are aligned to national standards and MDG41 compliant. With trainers located Australia-wide Custom Fluid Power Training can provide training on a national basis (and to Papua New Guinea).
