Products are available in up to five sizes (capacities), are capable of handling flows up to 400 gallons per minute, and operate at pressures up to 5,000 pounds per square inch.
Screw-in hydraulic cartridges are one of the few growing areas in what is a “stagnant at best” hydraulic industry market, says Custom Fluidpower.
Current computer technology provides the means (CNC and 3D computer design tools) to be able to make new screw-in hydraulic cartridge products that are much smaller, much smarter, more reliable, on all account much better, safer and cheaper to use.
Custom Fluidpower’s screw-in hydraulic cartridge valves feature a unique, two piece, floating construction.
This design allows working parts in the cartridge to freely move in relation to the fixed position of the cartridge in its cavity, thus producing a high level of performance and a high degree of reliability.
Custom Fluidpower recently introduced the first of its comprehensive new line of electro-proportional cartridge valves. This initial offering comprises both direct-acting and pilot-operated versions.
The direct-acting models consist of proportional flow controls, pressure reducing/relieving cartridges, and a pilot stage relief.
The pilot stage relief also provides the foundation for the pilot-operated proportional product line.
