Various commercial packaging businesses are operated by Cumberland Industries for people with disabilities including Clean-Pac Services, Filpac and Pak-It-Rite. Cumberland Industries’ Clean-Pac Services (CPS) involves providing packaging services for pharmaceutical and veterinary products in stringent, hygienic conditions. Clean-Pac Services include automatic blister packaging, automatic tablet counting, banding of products, bottling lines with automatic tablet counter, hand packaging process, heatshrinking and inkjet coding facilities.
Filpac is the food and confectionary packing subsidiary of Cumberland Industries. The blending, packaging and labelling of food products are underataken by Cumberland Industries through Filpac. Packaging of dry food products using a variety of volumetric automatic filling lines, vertical form filling in a variety of sized bags from 100 grams to 2.5 kilograms, canning lines with gas flushing and/or vacuum sealing, pouch pack filling and blending are done by Cumberland Industries.
There are various secondary packaging, light assembly and rectification services available from Cumberland Industries’ subsidiary Pak-it-Rite. Pick and pack order processing, hand assembly of kits, packaging and re-packaging and rectification work including labelling and re-labelling are some of the services available from Cumberland Industries. Blister-packaging, shrink-wrapping, skin packing, carton gluing, assembly of promotional kits and mail outs and loading and unloading containers are also provided by Cumberland Industries through Pak-it-Rite.
