Zork has won gold in the Cryovac Technical Innovation Award at the 2005 Packaging Awards for its entry Zork PopCap.

This ingenious invention is a brilliant new answer to eliminating cork taint in wine.
An alternative to cork or screw tops, the Zork is a resealable stopper comprising of three separate functionalities: a peel-off outer seal, a resealable stopper and locking mechanism, and a seal offering a superior oxygen barrier.
Made from durable food-grade polymers, Zork is designed to seal without taint, and to reseal with ease.
The intact Zork has a tamper-evident twisted peel-back design, which looks great before opening, and can be varied in colour or printed. The Zork pops off like a cork, and after opening, it snaps easily back into place.
The Zork’s inner construction reveals a significant advance in technology.
Unlike any previous stopper, the foil seal (oxygen barrier) is sandwiched between the layers of plastic, and this seal is returned to the bottle when the Zork is replaced.
While screw-top alternatives need a special screw-neck bottle, the Zork seal importantly allows use of a standard CETIE cork mouth bottle.
It is cheaper than cork and capsule options, and far simpler than screw cap systems.
All materials used in the Zork are 100% recyclable.
