With a fully equipped workshop and service centre, Crushing and Mining Equipment has the facilities available to repair and rebuild crushers and screens ranging from large to small.
The company recently completed a rebuild of a large 72 inch Kobe cone crusher belonging to a Kimberly iron ore producer.
This extensive job entailed:
- full NDT on all components
- full dimensional checks and reports on components; and
- the manufacture of parts to suit this 55 tonne crusher.
In addition, qualified Crushing and Mining Equipment staff carried out the installation of the rebuilt crusher on-site, with the whole project including installation taking three months, well within the timeframe quoted to complete the job.
CME fitters are also currently repairing a 14 tonne banana screen in the workshop for a gold producer in South West WA.
The is the second of three banana screen repairs for this customer, with one being a complete rebuild including an initial full strip down of the screen for complete NDT, sandblasting and repair reporting.
Crushing and Mining Equipment successfully completed the first screen repair including supply of new components in November last year.
