CROWN Equipment 's WP 2000 series of platform pallet trucks are designed for maximum operator safety and comfort without compromising vehicle performance.
The truck's narrow width of 708mm ensures that the often inefficient task of block stacking is made safe and easy. This is very useful in warehouse and large retail applications.
The vehicles have steel side restraints on the operator's platform for maximum strength and safety, while Roto foamed cushions ensure operator comfort. A spring suspended platform reduces vibration and jolts from uneven floors, bumps, or dockboards and an anti-slip floor mat also contributes to operator safety. The operator platform allows faster travel in long aisles or open spaces. For shorter runs or tighter spaces it easily converts to a pedestrian mode unit.
A two-stage braking system allows the vehicles to brake smoothly, even while carrying lighter loads. With the drive control button in the neutral position the regenerative electric brake slows the truck smoothly and automatically while saving energy.
The trucks have a high level of stability during cornering. They have a five-point suspension system with fixed casters and a spring loaded drive unit. Traction on uneven floors is very high, and two levels of programmable travel performance address the needs of different operators.
Separately excited motor (SEM) and microprocessor controller technologies provide good system efficiency and serviceability. SEM is also responsible for other advantages including flexible performance settings, energy savings, self diagnostics, and reporting functions. Serviceability is further enhanced by simplified access to components requiring routine maintenance and colour-coded wiring.
