VPort 254 4-channel MPEG4/MJPEG video encoder will be available from CrispTech

VPort 254 4-channel MPEG4/MJPEG video encoder
CrispTech and Moxa have introduced the VPort 254 4-channel MPEG4/MJPEG video encoder for multi-channel applications. Since the launch of the VPort 351 1-channel industrial-grade video encoder, rugged industrial video surveillance solutions have become a growing trend in mission-critical applications such as traffic monitoring, SCADA/HMI video monitoring systems, and facility video monitoring systems.
However, some applications require multi-channel solutions to save installation space and costs for additional devices. To meet this demand, Moxa are releasing the new VPort 254 4-channel MPEG4/MJPEG video encoder for industrial video networking applications.
In addition, the VPort D351, SoftDVR Lite, and VPort SDK PLUS are also compatible with the VPort 254. All updated firmware and software versions for the VPort 254 will be available from CrispTech and Moxatech official website after launch.
Key features of VPort 254 4-channel MPEG4/MJPEG video encoder include:
- Industrial design with -40 to 75°C operating temperature and fiber optic Ethernet port
- Video stream up to 120 frames/sec at CIF (352 x 240) resolution
- Modbus/TCP support for easy communication with SCADA software Supports 1 RS-232, 422/485 COM port for controlling external serial devices through Ethernet (Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client)
- Free VPort SDK PLUS and 4-channel video surveillance software
