CrispTech has announced that the Moxa MPC-122-K marine touch panel computer is now IP67 rated.
The International Protection (IP) Rating indicates the extent the enclosure of an electronic device protects the computer against the environment.
Moxa’s IP67 rated marine touch panel computers’ level of dust and water resistance exceeds common maritime standards.
The initial IP digit indicates the touch panel computers' level of protection against solids such as fingers, dust, or wires, and the second digit reflects the machines' level of protection against liquids and water immersion.
Moxa’s MPC-122-K IP67 rating means that it can be immersed one metre deep in water for up to 30 minutes and is completely protected against contact and dust.
The 22-inch marine monitors are equipped with full range dimming and wide angle viewing and a high-clarity display.
The FirstMate utilises Moxa’s Optical Bonding technology eliminating fog and sun-reflection to provide optimal screen readability in extreme marine environments.
