New Moxa ThinkCore V481 embedded computer with VGA
announced the new Moxa ThinkCore V481 embedded computer, with VGA. The V481 is powered by the Intel x86 processor and provides a VGA monitor port, dual LAN ports, 8 serial ports, a CompactFlash slot, a USB port, and built-in audio and speakers.
The VGA interface makes the ThinkCore V481 particularly well-suited for industrial applications, including applications involving SCADA and factory automation.
The 8 serial ports support RS-232/422/485 operation that are selectable by software, making the ThinkCore V481 ideal for connecting a wide range of serial devices. The 10/100 Mbps and 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports provide network redundancy so the ThinkCore V481 can promise continuous, reliable data communication.
The CompactFlash slot provides easy storage expansion, while the USB ports support all sorts of devices. Combined with built-in VGA support, these features make the ThinkCore V481 a reliable controller for industrial applications that require graphics display and HMI features.
The WinCE 5.0 operating system comes pre-installed, providing a friendly environment for software development. Moxa's software support makes it easier for programmers to develop bug-free code quickly and at lower cost.
The ThinkCore V481 also comes in a wide temperature model for reliable operation between -35 to 75°C, a great solution for harsh environments. The ThinkCore V481 will begin shipping in November.
