Moxa VPort 2100 Series, equipped with either a 1-ch video input (VPort 2110) or 4-ch video input/output (VPort 2140), image digitiser, image compressor with Motion-JPEG compression, web server with 10/100 Mbps Ethernet/modem interface, and ActiveX Control SDK, can digitise analogue video sources and distribute digital images over a computer network, turning a CCTV video surveillance system into a "Video over IP" network system instantly.
The VPort 2100 video servers have a built-in, user-friendly web server that allows users to fully manage and control camera and video images.
Important built-in functions include camera/video settings, VMD (video motion detection), PTZ camera control (supported by Sony VISCA, Canon VC-C3/VC-C1/VC-C4, Dynacolor Smart DOME, Pelco D protocol, Liling, Ernitec, Custom camera), and sequential viewing.
Snapshot images taken by either VMD or sequential mode can be obtained by email or FTP to inform users of the status of events.
Moxa VPort 2100 Series is equipped with digital inputs and relay outputs that connect to sensors and alarms. By using system software or Script Command programming, users can construct an automatic video surveillance system for viewing and recording, by setting up interaction between cameras and DI/DO devices.
Moxa SoftDVRTM IP surveillance software, SoftDVRTM Lite and SoftDVRTM Pro, is designed for IP surveillance systems that use MOXA VPort 2100 Series video servers.
SoftDVRTM Lite is bundled free with VPort 2100 Series and supports 4-ch viewing format, offering video viewing, camera control, and VMD function.
SoftDVRTM Pro supports up to 16 viewing formats, and includes complete viewing and recording, area-selectable video motion detection, DI/DO alarm triggering and message sending, and remote accessibility for viewing, storage, camera control, and playback.
