The AWK-4121, available from CrispTech , is an outdoor 3-in-1 wireless access point/bridge/client from Moxa with IP67 certification. Designed for outdoor industrial wireless applications, the AWK-4121 wireless access point/bridge/client can withstand tough weather conditions and temperatures from -40 to 75°C.
Outdoor industrial environments, such as mines and oil fields, are often subject to extreme temperatures and unpredictable weather conditions that can damage commercial-grade access points. To address these concerns, Moxa's AWK-4121 wireless access point/bridge/client is housed in an aluminium alloy die-cast enclosure for IP67-rated protection.
Its M12 and waterproof RJ45 connectors prevent damages caused by rainfall, dirt and dust, extreme humidity, and excessive shock and vibration. The AWK-4121 point/bridge/client has a design that incorporates a fin-shaped heat sink on the back panel and can operate without problems in challenging outdoor environments.
In addition to industrial IEEE 802.11a/b/g standards, the AWK-4121 point/bridge/client is compliant with IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) protocol for power distribution in outdoor applications. WEP, WPA/WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access), and IEEE 802.1X authentication enhance wireless network security, while STP/RSTP provides a backup port switching mechanism to protect data transmission security.
In addition, network administration features such as DHCP, which automatically manages IP addresses, web browsers, and IP filters, can ensure a secure wireless network environment. The AWK-4121 point/bridge/client can also be mounted to a DIN-Rail or wall for easy installation. In addition, its LED display can be viewed from any height or angle for easy system inspection. Along with the integrated relay output and DI/DO, these features provide system administrators with real-time emergency updates.
