Wireless networking is rapidly growing in industrial environments and offers fast rollout and low cost deployment of Ethernet network links.

Industrial products, such as the AWK1100, give non-stop performance in the harshest of environments. Its IP30 casing, high temperature tolerance and dual power inputs make it perfect for critical applications The AWK1100 is an Industrial Strength Wireless Unit that supports the 802.11g 54Mbs standard and can be used as an Access Point, a Wireless Bridge or an Access Point Client.

Wireless Serial Device Servers extend serial links over wireless networks for printers, scales, bar code readers, POS equipment and data collection devices. Using 802.11b technology, they support both RS232, RS422 & RS485 interfaces.

They can be DIN Rail mounted and powered from a range of supplies including 24DC. A range of antennas and other options mean that they can be used for both mobile applications and point to point longer distance links.
