The IA261-I-T and IA262-I-T are wide temperature models for harsh environments.
The IA261-I-T comes with 4 RS-232/422/485 serial ports and the IA262-I-T embedded computer comes with 2 RS-232/422/485 serial ports and dual CANbus ports.
Both computers come with dual Ethernet ports, 8 digital input channels, 8 digital output channels, VGA output, 2 USB hosts and a CompactFlash socket.
Both computers are housed in a compact, IP40 protected and industrial-strength aluminium housing.
Strong embedded computing platform
The IA261-I-T/IA262-I-T computers use the Cirrus Logic EP9315 ARM9, 32-bit, 200 MHz RISC CPU. This computing engine supports several useful communication functions but will not generate too much heat.
The built-in 32 MB NOR Flash ROM and 128 MB SDRAM give enough memory to run the application software directly on the IA261-I-T/IA262-I-T.
Multiple connection options for data communication
The IA261-I-T/IA262-I-T computers support RS-232/422/485, CANbus (IA262-I-T only), digital I/O, come with 2 KV isolation protection and have dual LAN ports, making them suitable as communication platforms for industrial applications that require network redundancy.
In addition, the VGA output interface is suitable for use with SCADA systems in industrial applications such as manufacturing automation, production line process monitoring and mining automation that require VGA and HMI features.
Wide temperature models for harsh industrial environments
In addition to the standard models, wide temperature (-40 to 75°C) models are available for use in harsh industrial automation environments.
Windows CE 6.0 pre-installed
The IA261-I-T/IA262-I-T computers come with Windows CE 6.0 pre-installed, and support general Windows and .NET 2.0 computing environments.
This means that programs developed for standard PC operating systems with tools such Embedded Visual C++ or Visual Studio 2005 can run on the IA261-I-T/IA262-I-T without much porting effort.
