Moxa EDS-309 series unmanaged switches
CrispTech has released new Moxa EDS-309 series of industrial 9-port unmanaged switches.
The EDS range of Industrial Ethernet Switches is now supplemented by a new 9 port version which will be available later this month.
The unique 9 port configuration incorporates 6 UTP ports and 3 Multimode Fibre Optic ports with either SC or ST type connectors.
This offers flexibility in designing small fibre based Star networks or Fibre Bus networks with an additional fibre uplink port.
With the existing EDS-305 and EDS-308 models there are now options for either one, two or three Fibre ports together with 4, 5 or 6 UTP ports.
The EDS family now offers wide range of options and models for Industrial Ethernet Switches with over 160 different variants.
The EDS-309 unmanaged Ethernet switch provides an economical solution for industrial applications and the built-in relay warning function alerts maintainers when power failures or port breaks occur.
Both standard temperature models, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C, and wide temperature models, with an operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C are available.
Both model types are subjected to a 100% burn-in test to ensure that they fulfill the special needs of industrial automation control.
Key features:
- Relay output warning for power failure and port break alarm
- Redundant dual 24 VDC power inputs
- Broadcast storm protection
- -40 to 75°C operating temperature range
- Rugged hardware design well suited for industrial environments.
