Bridge systems usually require speedy multi-tasking, and that is why Moxa Master Series computer features an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU with 2.26 GHz, 6MB L2 cache and up to 4 GB of DDR3 support. This level of performance is rarely seen in fanless computers.
The Master Series of marine-grade computers also features two Gigabit Ethernet ports for fast and reliable integration into the network and six USB ports for key peripherals or for maintenance. The two serial ports are optically isolated and, as usual for Moxa computers, they can be software-toggled between RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 mode to connect to critical information devices like GPS which have not yet been integrated with the Ethernet network.
