8-Port RS422/485 optional connection box


THE Moxa Opt8K is an 8-port RS422/485 connection box with female DB25 connectors.

Available from Crisp Technologies , it is used in conjunction with Moxa 8-port multiport serial boards from the Moxa C218 series and C168 series to connect external serial devices to a PC running Windows or Linux.

Compared with the previous generation product (Opt8J), Opt8K uses less power, and comes with a more advanced data control capability.

Features include:

* Supports 4-wire and 2-wire RS485 with ADDC.

* Independent port configuration.

* TxD/RxD monitoring LEDs for each port.

* Transmission range from 50bps to 230.4kbps.
