Imsys partners with 2001 Electronic


Imsys Technologies AB and 2001 Electronic Components Ltd., today announce the signing of a distribution agreement between the parties.

2001 Electronics will distribute Imsys' line of Java-enabled microcontrollers, prototyping kits, modules and development tools.

"With a growing number of customers in England and our expansion plans we feel that it's the right time for us to enter this partnership with 2001 Electronics today. Their focus on value added sales is in line with our goal of having a well qualified partner with their own in-house design team," says Ola Andersson, President and CEO of Imsys.

"Our goal is always to offer the best breed of products for our customers and partners that can also help them to design better and more competitive products. Imsys offers a unique offering based on their proprietary processor architecture supported with a balanced mix of chips, modules, kits and tools to make shorter time to market a reality, "says Roy Greer, Managing Director of 2001.
