Function/Applications
Allied Data Systems develops and supplies embedded computers for use in rugged industrial and military systems. Embedded computers in the PC/104, PC/104plus and Computer on a Module (COM) form factors from RTD Embedded Technologies and Compulab, fanless Relio series of rack mount and panel mount computers from Sealevel and fanless panel computers (Panel Displays) from Wincomm form the basis of the product lines.

The IDAN Embedded Computing Systems from RTD Embedded Technologies provide PC/104 and PC/104+ computers in rugged aluminium housings with fanless, conductively cooled, CPU's from 486's though to the latest Pentium M processors for use in military and rugged industrial applications such as mining or on vehicles and aircraft. Allied Data Systems is using the IDAN Embedded Computer along with DDC's MIL_STD_1553 interface cards to provide a MIL-STD-1553 Bus Controller for use in controlling the transmission of data between a Radar and an Inertial Navigation System.

Data Device Corporation (DDC), represented in Australia by Allied Data Systems, have introduced a -55 to +125°C temperature grade RD-19240 resolver converter. The new RD-19240FS-100 resolver-to-digital converter is highly repeatable to 1LSB in 14-bit mode and contains programmable features such as resolution, bandwidth and tracking rate, which allow for strong dynamic configurability.

Software Development Kit New Software Development Kits from Allied Data Systems (20-Aug-2008)
Data Device Corporation (DDC), represented in Australia by Allied Data Systems, have introduced newly enhanced Software Development Kits (SDK) for MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data bus applications. The SDKs allow users to develop ‘C’ source code to simulate, monitor or troubleshoot 1553 and/or 429 data buses simultaneously or independently with support for the latest operating system versions including VxWorks 6, Linux 2.6 and Windows 2000/XP.
