Cospak and Cormack get closure on TECR

COSPAK has entered an exclusive distribution arrangement with Cormack Packaging to promote their new tamper evident child resistant (TECR) closure suited for 28mm ROPP finish.

Cospak offers this new closure as a package deal with amber glass “Alpha” syrup bottles – packed in clean room conditions at the glassworks, with no fibre packaging content, and untouched until delivered to the packer.

The “Alpha” range of bottles from 30ml to 300ml includes an innovative export 185ml size with a 28mm ROPP finish.

Cospak offers this new closure as a package deal with amber glass “Alpha” syrup bottles – packed in clean room conditions at the glassworks, with no fibre packaging content, and untouched until delivered to the packer.

Cospak sources these clean room produced bottles from Gujarat Glass, India – a member of the Piramal Enterprises Group which includes as corporate names well known pharmaceuticals such as Boots, Nicholas and Allergan.

Cospak has full confidence in this glass manufacturer whose quality standard conforms to ISO 2859-1, has experience supplying to companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Bayer, Abbott, Astra Zeneca, and Novartis.

Gujarat’s environmental management system complies with ISO 14001:1996.

With a modern, premium shape and an international finish the “Alpha” is the first step in providing stock 28mm ROPP finish bottles to the Australian market, and will be followed by a program of development of the same finish on other bottles, including plastic.

The finish is said to be a break away from the existing 24mm size on the market, and is easier to fill and easier to dispense from.
