Cormack Packaging was announced as the Selleys Supplier of the Year 2011 at the awards night held in December last.
The Selleys awards are given out to top suppliers working with the Dulux Group on the basis of their performance across a range of areas.
‘Supplier Excellence’ and ‘Special Commendation’ certificates are awarded in each category, along with an overall ‘Supplier of the Year’ award covering all divisions, which is based on customer satisfaction levels and continuous improvement. Over the course of the year, each supplier is evaluated twice against a range of demanding criteria such as Account & Relationship Management, Innovation, DIFOTQ, Customer Service, Supply and Quality.
Selleys held their 2011 awards night at the prestigious Leonda by the Yarra in Melbourne. The event was attended by over 500 people, representing the first shortlist from 3,700 companies that supply the Dulux Group.
Cormack Packaging’s award for Supplier of the Year 2011 is recognition of the company’s commitment to reducing costs, sustaining supply without compromising on quality whilst offering their customers potential market share growth.
Attributing the award to teamwork and commitment, Mathew Cormack, MD of Cormack Packaging specifically mentions Al Ali for going the extra mile for the company.
Al is the overall account manager at Cormack Packaging who spends substantial time with supply, procurement, NPD, Innovation and marketing groups at Selleys in addition to coordinating as the Category Manager, all the supply to a variety of contract packers.
Mr Cormack also expressed his appreciation for the Customer Service and Logistics teams who have been a big part of ensuring service excellence to the Selleys business.
Cormack Packaging specialises in the design and manufacture of beverage closures, child resistant closures, trigger sprayers, lotion pumps, cosmetic packaging, dispensing closures, foam pumps, swing caps, tamper evident caps, twist caps and push pull sports caps among others.
