The Anest Iwata AF2100 full face breathing mask from Cormack Anest Iwata provides a protection factor of 200 times the occupational exposure limit.
Designed with safety, comfort and hygiene in mind, all Anest Iwata AF2100 masks are fitted with double action safety couplings to prevent accidental disconnection of the air feed line to the mask.
The AF2100 is highlighted by a revamped air diffuser. Located under the browguard, the air diffuser directs airflow down and under the face. Downward air flow moves air away from the eyes. This means better eye protection and less chance for sore eyes.
The AF2100 is supplied with a waist belt and pre-set air regulator with adjustable air flow that meets the requirements of AS/NZS1716. Also included is a replaceable carbon filter, a pliable bracket that moulds to the user's body contour with a quick release buckle for ease of fitting.
The floating headband has four adjustment points, with front and rear adjustment, for advanced user comfort. The face seal and sweat band are replaceable for added hygiene.
Other features include a visual air supply indicator located within the users peripheral vision-allowing the user to ensure that air is being supplied at all times and a replaceable visor cover, which allows a panoramic view for the user.
A 1.2 metre high flexible gun whip hose, with ultra light fittings to provide enhanced spray gun manoeuvrability is supplied with the AF2100 mask.
As with all air breathing equipment, maintenance is an important factor in protecting the health of the user. The carbon belt filter, along with all the air supply system filters should be periodically checked and replaced.
As filters become dirty, their ability to provide effective protection is reduced. The point at which the filters are replaced will be determined by many factors - the cleanliness of the air supplied, the type and age of the compressor and the numbers of hours the system is being worked each day are just a few.
