Australia’s premier and innovative provider of construction information in Australia for the last 34 years, Cordell Building Information Services has acquired the business of competitor, Construction Research of Australia (Conres).
According to Cordell Building Information Services, this is an good pick-up for Conres as it has built a strong bank of project information in housing and non-housing construction that when added to Cordell’s already rich load of market intelligence, will result in greater business opportunities for its clients, in fact this information source will be by far, the ideal in Australia.
Cordell has been providing information on construction projects and construction costs, since 1969. Tried, tested and proven by countless thousands of Australian businesses, Cordell’s information helps its customers pinpoint hot market opportunities at the right time, in the right place and with the right decision makers.Included in this acquisition, is the opportunity (under contract) to provide Telstra with information on new construction projects, thus ensuring that data and voice communication facilities are in place for the eventual occupants of these buildings.
This means that Cordell will be covering some 95% of all construction activity across Australia, which will result in unparalleled coverage and wider ranging business opportunities for the clients.
Cordell Building Information Services is now renamed as Reed Construction Data.
