Soft starters for pumps, fans and presses


CONTROL Supplies has released the Powerboss Plus 3 range of soft starters. They are suitable for applications such as pumps, fans and presses and are a direct replacement for fluid couplings, star-delta starters, auto transformer starters and direct online starting.

They use soft start & soft stop, stress-free control which can reduce wear and prevent premature failure of gears, chains and belts. A microchip tunes the motor to the controller, decreasing power consumption and reducing the amount of excess heat generated.

A remote interface allows external auxiliary monitoring, control and alarm outputs.
