New range of soft starters


A NEW range of soft starters is available in Australia from Control Supplies .

Called the Powerboss Plus 3. it is suitable for a wide variety of application such as pumps, fans, presses, and as a direct replacement for fluid couplings, star-delta starters, auto transformer starters and direct on line starting.

The Powerboss utilises soft start and soft stop, stress free control, which can result in reduced excessive wear and premature failure of gears, chains, belts, etc., saving on maintenance downtime and loss of productivity.

A microchip to control the motor efficiency is installed on all Powerboss Plus 3 starters.

This tunes the motor to the controller which can decrease the power consumption thus saving on excess heat generated.

A remote interface allows external auxiliary monitoring, control, and alarm outputs.
